  1. Not so much a comment, but a question, given your obvious enthusiasm and awesome knowledge of all things TAG; what can you tell us about the S/EL model S97? Specifically S97.713. It seems to have a two tone bracelet with solid gold links! Can you tell us what is the bracelet ID? And is it the same as a BB0438 but with solid gold links?
Thanks. And great effort on the blog.

    1. Hi David
Sorry I didn't see your comment before now. I had never come across this model, but a quick google finds one for sale. Can't give you any info unfortunately, but I will add this to the list and gallery blog

    1. Hi, I'm not David.... you can't add directly, if you have found something that's missing leave a comment and I will add it. Thanks, Rob

  3. Sorry Rob. You are missing CG1110-1, CG1112-1, CG1120-1, these 3 being the revised facia (with triangle at 12 instead of 2 bars), also the fact CG1118 is a Di Caprio limited edition of 600.

    1. Hi Reims, you could be right about the CG variants, but I am not sure I believe the CG1118 was anything to do with Leo. The SEL went out of production in 1999, I don't remember the connection between them being til much later. Also looking on the internet I can see only 2 (not very satisfactory) instances where the connection is made and neither show anything that suggests it was a LDC edition. In the 90s I would expect a signature on the dial, and neither show the back of the watch, so as far as I can tell and unless someone can show me different I'm afraid I'm not buying it... Regards Rob

    2. Upon further research, CG1118 is a limited edition but from a different Leonardo, not LDC but Araujo, limited to 300 not 600. No signature on dial, only on the back (and it matches a search for Araujo autograph). It seems they took the CG1110-1 and just changed the back to make it a limited ed. I think Calibre11 (to which i contributed on SeL and 6000 blogs) listed it as a LDC, hence the confusion. I can see a few with pictures of the back by a Google Search, including one on Rakuten which does mention Araujo: https://item.rakuten.co.jp/trend-watch/wa-tag-0007/
      Cheers

    4. Another rarity: CG2111 Hakkinen (limited 300), dial identical to CG2111, as shown here: https://timepeaks.com/item/15641/

    5. Thanks Reims, excellent work! There's a CG2111 on Chrono24 with a gold bezel and two tone bracelet.... presume that is a franken watch. By the way, I have written a post about the Leonardo watch. Thanks again, Rob
