PRICE LIST: TAG Heuer Price List July 2020

Over the last few years I've collected numerous TAG Heuer catalogues and price lists which I find fascinating and useful, but since about 2016 the TAG Heuer catalogues have become 'selections' from the range rather than 'the range' that they used to represent. This of course is because the website has taken over the job of the catalogue, but the problem with the website is that while it is a good tool for selling watches it is not a good tool for preserving history. Ideally the TAG Heuer website would have a section for discontinued models, but it doesn't and so being completely transient in nature, is utterly useless as a tool for future historians of the brand.

So I thought, how can I preserve the 'range' for the future?

I started off with the idea of taking screenshots of the website, but quickly abandoned the idea not least because some 'genius' decided that we didn't need the part numbers of the watches on the main screen anymore... in fact, it's now hidden in a pointless drop down menu right at the bottom of the product page. Why? I have no idea. Anyway, while it would be lovely to preserve the information with pictures, it eventually dawned on me that the most practical way to do this would be to compile a price list and check it every six months to record what has come and gone.

The initial work was quite time consuming of course, but now that I have done the grunt work it shouldn't be too bad to check, update and upload in April. So this isn't perfect, at the end of the day it's a Word document, but at least it is a record of what was for sale in July 2020, which is better than nothing.

It's quite small here, but if you click on the first page you can then scroll through and if necessary you can open each page in a new tab and then zoom in.
